World Car Awards 2013: Three Mercedes-Benz models among the top finalists

The World Car Awards (WCA) 2013 will be conceded during a special ceremony on the eve of the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) on Thursday, March 28th. Mercedes-Benz managed to get into the final stage of the competition with three unique models: the A-Class, the SL 63 AMG and the SLS AMG Roadster.

The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class successfully advanced into the finals after the outcome of the Geneva Motor Show semi-finals. Among its toughest competitors are the Audi A3, the Volkswagen Golf and the Volvo V40. The model is conquering for the top position in the World Car Of The Year (WCOTY) 2013 category.

In addition, there are three further election boards: World Car Design Of The Year - where the A-Class can also compete, World Performance Car Of The Year - where the SL 63 AMG and the SLS AMG Roadster are standing, and World Green Car Of The Year.
