Internet Auto Award 2013: The A-Class is the best car in Europe

No car is more desirable in Europe than the Mercedes-Benz A‑Class. That is the result of a survey conducted by Europe's largest online car marketplace, AutoScout24.

55 new cars appearing in 2012 were the candidates in this grand online vote for the 11th Internet Auto Award in Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Spain and Switzerland. Around 223,000 online users cast their votes. In all eight countries this online jury gave first place to the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. This makes it the star among compact cars.

In voting it the "Best Car" and therefore Europe's favourite, the respondents expressed their appreciation for the dynamic and radical design idiom of the A-Class, with which Mercedes-Benz has opened up a completely new chapter in the compact class. The A-Class has a distinctive, sporty character complementing an innovative interior with a high perceived value. No car in this segment is as progressive as the A-Class.
